On the outskirts of Callian, in the heart of the countryside, Anne and Oliver promise you a warm family welcome to their Provencal villa. Set amongst olive trees and greenery, Carpe Diem is within striking distance of the sea and mountains. The villa has superb views of the hills around St Cezaire. Numerous walks start from the house.

After a good night's sleep, your continental breakfast will be served on the terrace. Evening meals - available to order - are served outside or, if preferred, in the heated dining room. With its wood-burning stove, this is a very cosy area all year round. Olivier will even prepare a delicious casserole for you to heat on the stove yourself.

The quiet, two hectare gardens let you discover the various plants which comprise our Mediterranean garden. Olives, pines, mimosas and other plants will delight you.

To complete your enjoyment of the grounds, there is a generously sized pool (adapted from an ancient 'bassin' used by the farmer to store water in summer). There is also a petanque area where you can play the classic French game of boules. C'est magnifique! |
